Let us introduce our rearranged-showroom!!

We had reallocated the furniture displaying a few weeks ago.
It is not a big change, but we put away some walls to make the floor even wider.

It does look different, please have a look at the photos below:)




We are displaying fabric corner sofa, large sofa on the first floor.

This dining table is extendable.

Snow Shoveling

It was a very heavy snow all day, 8 cm fall of snow was recorded in Tokyo yesterday.

So...what is waiting for us after the winter storm is "shoveling" !!

According to past posting in this blog, snow fall was just 4 cm on January 24, 2012.

This picture was taken 9 am this morning, everyone was slowly and carefully taking steps.

It is still dangerous to pass through an alley and shaded streets, so please watch out your step everyone!!

Travelogue in Switzerland

Hello everyone. It has been a long hot summer in Tokyo,
but I hope all of you have been doing well.
Today, we are introducing beautiful pictures taken by TLC president Mr. Tagawa.

He visited Switzerland during summer holiday with his family, These pictures make you feel cooler. So please have a look !

I went for a trip with my family, who are my daughter and son-in-low live in Zurich, grandchild, and my wife. Group tour is always fun for us.

Dent Blanche

We visited a village called Grimentz where is located back of Val’d Anniviers
to the South from Val de Rhone.
Even though Grimentz is not a world-popular touring destination like Zermatt nor well-known resort area like Crans-Montana, we had a lot of fun in this quiet and classic town.
It was a beautiful view which Wooden house and warehouse are lined up on the gentle hill with a lot of colorful geranium flower.

To Grimetz, we took a post bus from Sierre national railway station.
We enjoyed trekking around that area.

We stayed in a traditional wooden house (which is like a furnished apartment house).
Level 3000 meters mountains are just in front of us,
and furthermore we could view Matterhorn from the higher ground spot,
where transported by ropeway from another town called Tuinal.

Dynamic Lily flower bloomed !

There are a variety of flowers are blooming on the roof terrace in our showroom.

Today, we would like to introduce our gorgeous yellow lily flower shining in the rainy sky !

We planted two lily bulbs three years ago.

Now they are all grow and bloom beautifully.

It was just a little bulbs a few years ago,

But, look at this full blooming now!

The hottest and happiest season is just around the corner.

Snow in Tokyo

when I went out from Subway Exit, I was surprised becaouse the street is covered with snow!

Snow falling in Tokyo is not usual.
Peaple lives in Tokyo Area isn't used to walk on the snow, especialy on the frozen snow.....

The news said 100 peaple got injured from falling down.
And weather forecast said Japan is going to be gripped by cold weather.
It is possible snow falls again, be careful...

Open Garden at the Embassy of Netherlands

Last Friday, we had a chance to visit the garden at the Netherlands Ambassador's residence, open to the public for two days. The Embassy is located down the street from our showroom, just a quick, pleasant stroll away.




As the warm spring breeze ushered us through the front gate, we were suddenly placed in this tastefully exotic environment, with the western-style embassy building before us, surrounded by lush green foliage and blossoming spring flowers. It was indeed an urban oasis. We could easily forget that we were in the middle of a bustling city, as we walked along a winding passage to the garden.


We weren't allowed inside the residence, but the interiors were on display through the large windows facing the garden. The beautiful chandeliers shed light on well-built, solid furniture against immaculately white walls. The simple, yet elegant interior coordination truly struck a chord with the kind to which
we apsire here at Azabu Interior.
